     Proof of address not more than 6 months old is required, along with Birth Certificate or Passport.        


About our Nursery

Nursery Provision

St Edmund’s School offers the following, term time only, Nursery provision:

Universal Entitlement Funded Places (15 hours)

Children attend Monday – Friday either:

  • Morning session (8.45am – 11.45am), or
  • Afternoon session (12.15pm – 3.15pm)

30 hour Extended Funded Offer (School Day places 8.45am – 3.15pm) – limited places

This comprises the 15 hour Universal Funding plus 15 hours ‘extended funding’. To check eligibility for 30 hour funding, please visit https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/

Children staying for the lunchtime session (11.45am – 12.15pm) will need to be provided with a healthy packed lunch. There will be a charge for lunchtime supervision of £5 per day. Parents may take children home for lunch if they do not wish to pay the charge.

Self Funded Offer (School Day places 8.45am – 3.15pm) – limited places

For parents who are not entitled to 30 hour funding, there is an option to apply for extended hours at £9 per hour (£27 for a three hour session) dependent on availability.

Children staying for the lunchtime session (11.45am – 12.15pm) will need to be provided with a healthy packed lunch. There will be an additional charge for lunchtime supervision of £5 per day. Parents may take children home for lunch if they do not wish to pay the charge.
